STAQ Privacy Policy

Effective date: February 20, 2026

STAQ ("we", "us", "our") provides fitness tracking and coaching features through our mobile and web applications (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, login credentials, and profile details.
  • Fitness and app usage data: workouts, routines, exercise history, goals, preferences, and in-app activity.
  • Device and technical data: device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, and diagnostic/crash data.
  • Subscription and purchase data: product identifiers, subscription status, transaction metadata, and entitlement status from app stores and billing providers.
  • Audio data (when you use voice features): microphone input used to process voice commands or voice-based workout logging.

How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate the Service.
  • Authenticate users and maintain account security.
  • Process subscriptions, purchases, and entitlement access.
  • Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

Microphone Permission

If microphone access is enabled, audio input is used only for features that require voice interaction (for example, voice-based workout logging or commands). You can disable microphone permission at any time in your device settings.

How We Share Information

  • Service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, analytics, authentication, payments, subscriptions, customer support).
  • App stores and billing platforms (such as Google Play and Apple) to validate and manage purchases.
  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on data type and legal requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. You can also request account deletion by contacting us.

International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and revise the effective date.

Account deletion

To delete your STAQ account, open the STAQ app and go to Privacy → Delete Account, then confirm the deletion.

If you cannot use the app, email staq@nottage.digital from the email address associated with your account and request deletion.

Deleting your account permanently deletes your account and workout data. We may retain store purchase records where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, and limited copies in backups for a short period until they are automatically overwritten.
